2022 World Cup Game 5 September 27th

Group A:

No complicated calculations were needed in this group. The winner of the first game would grab the last spot in the quarterfinals and it was a fast start for Mya Hollinshed and Puerto Rico that quickly left no doubt in a 92-73 win even though Kang Lee-Seul and Park Hye-Jin continued to fire away for South Korea. The next game was for second place in the group and Belgium kept the game close for a while even while missing their star, but China pulled away for an 81-55 win. Bosnia and Herzegovina was finishing up a tough tournament and the United States was preparing for the knockout stage and the game went about as expected with Kelsey Plum pacing the group winners in a 121-59 win.
