Qualification for teams that did not automatically get into the EuroLeague regular season started on Tuesday. There are six teams in the eastern half competing for two spots that were divided into two groups. DVTK is hosting one in Miskolc and started out well after finally being able to assemble a full roster, pulling away late for an 80-54 win over Israel’s Elitzur Ramla. The other group is being played in Serbia and Megan Gustafson helped Olympiacos win their first game 73-54 over Romania’s Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe.
