Italian League Round 10 December 4th-6th
Most of the games in the first round after the international break were on Sunday and Ragusa looked stronger, winning 76-72 behind Kristine Anigwe and Nicole Romeo, although Bologna was battling shorthanded. Sassari was the lone visitor to win on the day, 72-65 at San Martino di Lupari. Campobasso’s dominant fourth quarter got them a 74-59 win over San Giovanni Valdarno. Sesto San Giovanni fended off Faenza 64-60. A battle of league newcomers had Crema getting the 72-65 win over Brooke Johnson and Brixia. Venezia wanted to show that it should be in the title conversation, but Marina Mabrey and Schio won 83-71 to maintain supremacy. The round finished on Tuesday with Kintala Katshitshi teaming up with Kathryn Westbeld to dominate the paint for Moncalieri in a 79-66 win over Lucca.

Spanish League Round 10 December 4th-6th
A full round of games was played on Sunday as Girona won 79-71 over Jairis. Gernika had tremendous balance in an 81-64 win over Tenerife. With lots of tough games recently domestically, Avenida had a much easier time against Estudiantes, rolling a 74-44 win. A good game from Maria Almendro was not enough for Ibaeta in an 80-66 loss to Barcelona. Ensino rolled to an 85-60 win over Leganes after a fast start in Lugo. Zaragoza missed a chance to be alone at the top of the standings after a 63-58 loss to Araski. Valencia just escaped Sedis with a 59-58 win. Sika Kone and Gran Canaria ended the day with an 82-80 win over Bembibre. The last game from Round 2 was finally made up on Tuesday in the middle of a busy time for Girona and they lost to Barcelona, which is the surprise team in a six-way tie at the top of the standings after a third of the season.
