Polish League Round 9 December 3rd-4th

The round after the international break started on Saturday with Gorzow staying perfect after Alanna Smith, Lindsay Allen, and Zoe Wadoux led them to a 97-78 win. At the other end of the standings, Magdalena Parysek-Bochniak and Pruszkow cut the margin late, but were not able to pick up their first win as Angelika Stankiewicz, Alexis Jones, and Marte Grays helped Torun prevail 89-81. On Sunday, Gabriela Marginean and Karina Michalek tried to get Bydgoszcz the win with both teams missing players, but Quinn Dornstauder and Batabe Zempare dominated the paint and Zaglebie Sosnowiec prevailed 79-75. Polkowice had the final piece of their puzzle in their 89-55 win over Sug Sutton and Poznan. Arka Gdynia needed a fantastic game from Marissa Kastanek to get past Stephanie Jones and Sleza Wroclaw 76-72.

Hungarian League Round 10 November 30th-December 4th

A game from Round 13 was played on Wednesday before this round and Sydney Wallace led Szekszard to a 91-58 win over Cegled. This round started on Friday with Raina Perez and Szigetszentmiklos keeping Pecsi winless 77-69. It was a day of close games on Saturday as Morgan Green had a triple-double and BEAC edged Bernadett Horvath and Csata 78-76. Vasas managed to grind out a 53-49 win over MTK while PEAC secured another strong result in a 67-65 win over Szekszard. The first game on Sunday was in Miskolc and DVTK won 85-59 over Cegled. The old rivalry finished the round and Sopron sent a message early on their way to handing Gyor their first loss 65-45.

French League Round 5 December 3rd-4th

Only one game was played on Saturday in this round and Kennedy Burke and Villeneuve-d’Ascq handed Bourges their first loss 71-55. Landerneau got good games from Leia Dongue and Rennia Davis on Sunday, but still lost to Roche 80-74. Lyon took advantage of the result from the day before to move into the sole lead with a 64-52 win over Tarbes. Landes finally picked up their first win of the season 72-54 over Angers. Oderah Chidom built her lead as the league’s top scorer as Saint-Amand won 78-59 at Toulouse. Brianna Fraser led Charleville-Mezieres past Lattes Montpellier 72-58 to close out the day.

Australian League Round 4 November 30th-December 4th

The usual Wednesday game marked the return of the league from break and Rae Burell tried to pick up the slack for Canberra as they had to make a swap at the other import slot, but Adelaide won 90-80. Keely Froling and Sydney came close to a win on Thursday, but Bec Cole and Kayla Thornton made sure Southside prevailed 82-75. Friday’s first game was close with Bendigo edging Tianna Hawkins and Townsville 68-66. Cayla George led the charge for Melbourne in their 88-73 win over Sami Whitcomb and Perth. Saturday’s game had Maddison Rocci leading shorthanded Southside, but Adelaide got great production from both import spots and Kierstan Bell and Jacinta Monroe got them the 91-72 win. Anneli Maley and Bendigo stayed perfect with a 77-60 win at Sydney on Sunday.
