Puerto Rico made it hard on themselves again in the first game on Friday, but they seized the lead in the second half on their way to a 65-57 win over Venezuela. That set up the second game possibly already determining the two qualifiers and Canada got the result for that with a strong second half giving them a 70-53 win behind Bridget Carleton and Kayla Alexander.
