Overseas League Updates April 7th

Turkish League Finals Game 2

The championship series continued on Sunday in Istanbul with Fenerbahce looking to take a commanding lead. They did so behind Natasha Howard and Kayla McBride in an 85-64 win. Elizabeth Williams led Cukurova, but she is likely to be left out of the next meeting between the teams in Mersin on Friday as the continental roster rules differ from the local set. After that clash and each team’s medal game on Sunday, the teams will resume this series on the following Wednesday.
