2026 WNBA Mock Draft 3.0

Senior center Lauren Betts of UCLA

It has been one year since I released the second version of the 2026 WNBA Mock Draft and it has performed well. I’ve received more than 14,000 views with Raegan Beers (then with Oregon, now with Oklahoma) as the top WNBA Draft prospect. The first ever version of the 2026 WNBA Draft was released two years ago with Florida State’s Ta’Niya Latson and it has received more than 10,000 views. I released the 2025 WNBA Mock Draft 4.0 last month and will release the 2027 WNBA Mock Draft 2.0 tomorrow.

These players are now in their junior year. Two more WNBA teams will be added (Toronto Tempo, Portland) and the Golden State Valkyries will be in their second season, bringing the total of WNBA teams to 15. This means more roster spots will be open; more WNBA draft prospects can be added, and they have more opportunities to make teams. The WNBA CBA will be updated and so there will be many changes so the future WNBA Mock Drafts will be different. For now, and for this current set of future WNBA Mock Drafts (2025, 2026, 2027 AND 2028) I’m sticking with their graduating class AND the year they turn 22. It will all change next year when we know all the changes to the current WNBA CBA as I only update the future WNBA mock drafts on a yearly basis.

  1. Janiah Barker is projected to be 12th overall in 2025 if she opts to go early this year. That said, she’s definitely not a 3rd round pick in 2026 unless she’s undergoing ACL surgery…

    1. Olivia Miles, Azzi Fudd were in my 2025 WNBA Mock Drafts. I didn’t know that they were going to stay for an additional year. I will update that for the 2026 WNBA Mock Draft 4.0 which will be released in December. As for Awa Fam, I wasn’t aware of how good she was a prospect. I will have her in mind as well for the 4th version of the 2026 WNBA Mock Draft.
