EuroLeague Round 12
Group A:
Half of the games in this round were on Tuesday before the international break and Bourges had the pressure on them to stay in the hunt for the quarterfinals and it was Alix Duchet pacing them late in a 77-61 win. The last game of the day had implications for the top spot in the group and Valeriane Vukosavljevic’s efforts for USK Praha were not enough as Fenerbahce eventually got the 73-66 win. On Wednesday, neither team was at full strength with the winners playing to stay in a quarterfinal place by a full game and Queralt Casas and Valencia surged out of the break to win 69-64 over Artemis Spanou, Erica Wheeler, and Polkowice. Getting a win last week did not help Olympiacos as they fell to Virtus Bologna 92-69.

Group B:
The first game of Tuesday was in this group and DeWanna Bonner and Cukurova pulled away from Schio for a 79-67 win. Two teams looking for a win to have the advantage down the stretch in Miskolc met and Girona left with the 74-56 victory over DVTK. The two eliminated teams met on Wednesday with Ziomara Morrison and Mechelen climbing above Marine Fauthoux and Landes 78-68. The day ended with Avenida staying even with the last quarterfinal spot and pulling Jelena Brooks and Sopron back towards the rest of the group with a 74-61 win.

All of the series concluded on Wednesday, starting in Sfantu Gheorghe with Marine Johannes and 19 seed Lyon shutting the door on 3 seed Sepsi early and wining 87-83 to push the final margin to 178-159. 8 seed Gorzow got their star back, but they still lost again to Elina Babkina and 9 seed Elitzur Ramla to get tossed out by the largest margin of any team 170-127. Top seed Reyer trailed again at home, but worked systematically to cut that deficit in the first half only to just hold on to an aggregate win of 145-143 over 16 seed Elitzur Holon with their 77-60 victory behind Jessica Shepard. Sparkle Taylor and 15 seed Lublin extended their lead in the first half, but Zaragoza did enough late to win 58-50 and flip the aggregate to 124-119 in their favor. Teaira McCowan and 13 seed Galatasaray had a solid lead and another win 67-57 over Lattes Montpellier sent the 4 seed packing 155-132. 5 seed Charleville-Mezieres almost completely made up the deficit by halftime, but 21 seed Sedis edged the second half to only lose 77-65 and advance 137-131. 7 seed Villeneuve-d’Ascq controlled the game from the start and won 74-44 to eliminate 10 seed PEAC 148-110. Miriam Uro-Nile and 22 seed Braine extended their lead early in the quest to be the lowest remaining seed, but Alexis Peterson and Jodie Cornelie-Sigmundova helped 6 seed Angers flip the aggregate after the break and an 89-83 win meant that they took the last spot in the quarterfinals 151-144.
