EuroLeague Round 13
Group A:
All of the games in this group were on Wednesday and Olympiacos continued to just play out the string with an 85-54 loss to USK Praha. The first game was played in Turkey after the earthquake and Fenerbahce debuted another star signing and closed the door on competition in this group after Satou Sabally paced them in a 93-61 win over Valencia. The big game was in Polkowice with Zala Friskovec and the hosts looking for the last spot in the quarterfinals, but Bourges took the lead, flipped the remaining tiebreakers to their favor, and then finished off a 75-66 win to advance. Kitija Laksa and Bologna were just looking to build momentum for domestic play in an 89-59 win over Szekszard.

Two of the games in this group were on Wednesday and Avenida took care of business on the road in Miskolc by defeating DVTK 70-61. Rebekah Gardner and Girona were close to an impressive win, but were edged out in overtime by Cukurova 75-73 to set up a major final day next week. A win at home on Thursday against eliminated Landes was all that Sopron needed to do to advance, but they faded late to lose 62-59 even being able to dress their full roster. Schio qualified after the results of the previous day, but still had seeding to play for when they escaped Morgan Bertsch and Mechelen 74-73.

EuroCup Quarterfinals Game 1
Each series started this week with the two-game format continuing. At least one double-digit seed will advance and 13 seed Galatasaray certainly made their case with Epiphanny Prince providing scoring and Teaira McCowan dominating the paint in an 86-61 win over 21 seed Sedis on Wednesday. It was the same story for top seed Reyer on Thursday as they trail before heading home again, this time because Shakira Austin led 9 seed Elitzur Ramla to an 80-75 win. Kamiah Smalls and 7 seed Villeneuve-d’Ascq built a solid lead with an 84-68 win over 2 seed Zaragoza. 19 seed Lyon has the biggest lead of any team after their 88-58 win over 6 seed Angers.
